Q: Is it safe to recycle my computer?


A: Yes: at Maui Computer Disposal we take two main steps to assure your data security:

1) All labels and identifiers from your facility are removed.

2) Hard drives are completely erased and reformatted or destroyed completely.


Q. Will you recycle the e-waste I have at home?


A: Absolutely. Maui Computer Disposal is committed to recycling all types of electronics including  Computers, Cell Phones, Stereos, DVD players and Video Game Consoles.


Q: Why should I recycle my PC?


A: A Computer is usually 2 primary parts, the monitor and the computer. The average monitor has over 5 lbs of lead and mercury a serious threat to our ground water. Your PC also has lead solder, and more importantly your personal information.


Q: Can I donate my computer & get a  tax deductible for it?


A: Maui Computer Disposal is not a Donation center. We too must pay shipping fees & other disposal fees appropriate for specific items.


We DO NOT accept: chemicals wet or dry, loose batteries, Styrofoam, cardboard or paper. No kitchen or bathroom appliances/electronics or CRT Monitors
